Hi,
My name is Elizabeth Noble. I am a
qualified Naturopath and holistic weight loss counsellor.
I have spent the last 12 years researching
and successfully treating thousands of overweight people with
natural weight loss approaches. People who have tried diet after
diet with no success. People whose days are spent agonising over
what foods they can eat, days spent constantly hungry, feeling
tired, unfocused and unmotivated.
Why conventional diets are
making you gain weight......

For the last twenty years, doctors and
dieticians have recommended the standard 'low fat, high
carbohydrate' diet for losing weight. This diet has been one of
the most popular fads in the western world, and yet there has
been an epidemic of weight gain and obesity.
The truth is that many diets will
help you lose weight only temporarily.
Most conventional diets are just low
calorie eating plans that cause you to lose fat as well as
valuable water, muscle and other lean tissue. In fact, studies
show that up to 25% of conventional weight loss comes from
water, valuable muscle, bones and other lean tissue.
When you lose muscle you experience a drop
in your metabolic rate. Your body goes into famine mode, so when
you eat normally again your weight rebounds, often above
previous levels!
The truth is that 9 out of 10 conventional
dieters will regain their weight (and often more!) within a
year. On these diets, you often also experience lowered
vitality, irritability, food cravings and depression. Your hair
and nails may become brittle, your skin drawn, and your eyes
dull. It's no wonder many people hate dieting!
In
contrast, healthy weight loss should guarantee you...
·
More energy, self esteem and confidence
·
Release from food cravings, binge eating and
addictive eating patterns
·
Freedom from the joint and muscle pains, poor
posture, depression, mood swings and fluid retention that
accompany weight problems
·
Enjoyment and satisfaction from food
·
Stronger hair and nails, younger-looking skin and
a sharper memory
·
Lower risk of suffering from high cholesterol,
high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes.
·
A gradual steady weight loss of 2-7lbs (1-3 kg) a
week.
A balanced weight loss diet should include
some high quality protein foods like chicken, lean red meat,
fish, cheese and eggs, or vegetarian substitutes; as well as
nutritious fruits, vegetables, nuts, natural oils and pure
water. Most people need to reduce "high carbohydrate" foods like
sugar, breads and starches. These foods can trick your body to
produce too much insulin. Too much insulin can encourage fat
storage. It is very hard to lose fat if you have a lot of
insulin in your body.
The real causes of weight
gain.......

A healthy diet is only part of the secret.
If you want to achieve permanent weight loss, exuberant health,
vitality and satisfaction, you need to establish the underlying
causes of your weight gain problem, and then treat these causes
naturally.
You
probably know that gaining weight is not always as simple as
eating too much or exercising too little.
You may have found that in your younger
days you had no problem losing weight, but now the same diet has
no effect. Alternatively you may find that you lose weight, only
to find it shoots up again when you resume your normal eating
habits.
If you are a woman, maybe your weight
problems started with pregnancy, menopause or HRT. Perhaps your
weight goes up before your period, and doesn't come down after.
Is your downfall carbohydrate foods? Do you
crave breads, sweets and biscuits and seem to pile on the kilos
out of all proportion to what you've eaten? Has your life been
ruined by an obsession with food. Does your day revolve around
planning, shopping, preparing and of course eating food? Perhaps
you have an inexplicable urge to keep eating! Have most of the
diets you have tried left you feeling hungry, depressed and
fatigued?
Maybe you find that a certain food or
medication encourages weight gain. Are you convinced that a bad
infection or stress has been the start to your problems? Are you
frustrated to wake up and find that you have gained a couple of
kilos seemingly overnight? You can't even fit into the jeans you
were wearing the previous day!
Do
any, or all of, these symptoms sound familiar to you?
They are all symptoms of weight gain, but
the causes of weight gain are many and varied. My suggestion to
you is to establish and address your individual underlying
causes why you are overweight.
Treat the causes of weight gain, and your
symptoms will be gone forever.
Causes of weight gain may include..
·
Toxins in your body
·
Blood sugar imbalances
·
Carbohydrate intolerance
·
A sluggish metabolism
·
Hormonal imbalances
·
Food allergies and intolerances
·
Unresolved stress
·
Overeating or binge eating
·
Nutritional deficiencies
·
Lack of exercise
Are you beginning to see how by working on
the underlying causes of your weight problem, you will also
improve your overall health and vitality?
This is the way to lose weight and stay in
top health for the long term. Many diet fads might work well for
"super models" who are naturally slim anyway. But for the rest
of us, understanding your body is the key.
Natural solutions
that help weight loss...

You
can save yourself the expense, frustration and inconvenience of
repeated failed diets once you know how to...
·
Burn your own
body fat as an energy source - lose 2-7lbs (1- 3 kg) a week
·
Boost your metabolism naturally
·
Improve your digestion and liver function to
detoxify your body and burn fat
·
Help your hormones to keep fat off

Everybody is different, and every treatment should be different.
What I teach my patients are ways to help
their bodies regulate their weight automatically. Your body
knows what to do. Treat it right and it will get on with its
job.
The people I treat in my clinics want to be
treated and respected as a unique person, not as a "number".
This is where many books and weight loss centres leave you in
the dark, and why I have spent a considerable amount of time
researching and developing approaches that work for
individuals.
Yours sincerely,
Elizabeth Noble
